SARI

Sari is the most ancient, mysterious and feminine traditional clothing of Hindu goddesses and ordinary Indian women, with which many beautiful stories and ancient Indian epics are associated.

In Sanskrit, sari sounds like "sati", which means a strip of fabric. This outfit consists of a rectangular strip of natural fabric (expensive silk or simple cotton) from 4-9 m, which is twisted around the body.

The colors of the sari could be very different from pastel shades to the brightest colors and patterns, depending on the social status, event or financial situation of the woman.

The main decorations of the sari are the edging and pallu. The edging runs along the lower and upper edges of the fabric, where various patterns were embroidered, drawings were applied with paints and semi-precious stones.

Pallu is the brightest and most beautiful part of the sari where the most saturated pattern is located. This is the edge of one side of the fabric, which hangs from the left shoulder.

Under the sari, underwear is worn: a short blouse-top called choli and a tight-fitting petticoat called pavada or shaya.

A woman dressed in a sari by her very appearance sets up a respectful attitude towards her, making her more feminine and attractive.

It is surprising that this most ancient outfit is still independent of fashion trends and most Indian women (and not only) still prefer to wear a sari as a national dress at large events and beauty contests.

An outfit that, with its diversity, emphasizes the individuality of each woman, revealing her true beauty, her feminine essence. Try to dress yourself in this magic of ancient clothing. Be beautiful and feminine!
